Description
Sparkler® Colorado Blue Spruce is a distinctive selection of Picea pungens var. glauca known for its exceptionally bright, silvery-blue needles that shimmer in sunlight, creating a “sparkling” effect across the dense, symmetrical canopy. Selected for its strong pyramidal habit and intense blue coloration, this cultivar provides the classic form of Colorado blue spruce with improved ornamental value and reliable landscape performance. It develops into a striking evergreen specimen with sturdy branching and excellent cold hardiness, making it ideal for focal plantings, windbreaks, or formal landscape designs. The cultivar ‘Monwal’ was introduced through the ornamental nursery trade as part of the Sparkler® branded selections, valued for its consistent color and uniform growth habit.
