Description
Golden Pacific™ Shore Juniper (Juniperus conferta ‘sPg-3-016’) is a carpet-forming, needled evergreen that paints the ground in glowing golden-yellow foliage from spring through winter. Bred and introduced in the Garden Debut® program, this sport of the popular ‘Blue Pacific’ shore juniper delivers the same low, trailing habit but with far brighter color, creating a soft, textural mat that cascades over walls, stabilizes slopes, and lights up rock gardens and coastal plantings. Its dense growth suppresses weeds, and once established it shrugs off drought, heat, wind, and road salt while shrugging off browsing deer and rabbits. Selected as a Garden Debut® introduction and widely promoted in design articles and plant trials, Golden Pacific™ has quickly earned a reputation as a tough, eye-catching groundcover workhorse.
