Description
Juniperus chinensis ‘Torulosa’, commonly known as Chinese Hollywood Juniper, is a distinctive and visually striking conifer prized for its uniquely twisted and contorted growth habit. Originating from China, this cultivar displays dense, rich green foliage with a fine texture that enhances its sculptural appeal in landscapes and bonsai art. Its irregular, twisting branches create an architectural silhouette, making it a favored choice for ornamental purposes, particularly in rock gardens, formal hedges, and as a specimen plant. The Chinese Hollywood Juniper is hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil, offering low-maintenance beauty across various climates. This juniper also contributes ecological value by providing shelter and food for wildlife. Recognized for its ornamental uniqueness, ‘Torulosa’ has long been esteemed among gardeners and landscape designers seeking plants with strong visual impact and resilience.
