Description
Latin Name:Ostrya Virginiana
Description:The ironwood is a low maintenance and elegant tree to have in your landscape. It’s slow growth and tolerance to urban pollution make it a great choice for those in urban and suburban areas. In the spring, the Ironwood produces green, silk like female flowers and copper male flowers before the leaves. Similar to a birch, leaves are deep green, textured, and increase in size throughout the season.
