INSTRUCTION CONTENT:
- Replacing gear box 105424:
- 1) Refer to snowblower owner’s manual for instructions to replace the gear box.
- 2) Use the new shear plate (item 1) supplied with the new gear box (item 2).
- 3) Insert the 1/4’’ x 1/4’’ 1’’ key (item 3) between the shear plate and the gear box.
- NOTE: If ever the new gear box needs to be replaced, it will not be necessary to replace the shear plate 106257 if it is still in good condition. However, it is strongly suggested to replace the key 102017 even if it is not damaged.
- IMPORTANT: Please change the part number for the shear plate in your manual.
