Description
The Rosa Floribunda ‘Celestial Night’ is a striking floribunda rose renowned for its deep, velvety purple blooms that create a dramatic and elegant display in the garden. This variety is prized for its prolific flowering habit, producing clusters of medium-sized, fragrant flowers from late spring through fall, making it an excellent choice for continuous color and vibrancy. The plant features glossy, dark green foliage that provides a beautiful contrast to the rich purple petals, enhancing its ornamental appeal. Originating from hybridization efforts to combine the floriferous nature of floribundas with unique coloration, ‘Celestial Night’ reflects modern rose breeding advances aimed at expanding the palette and improving disease resistance. This rose thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, exhibiting moderate disease resistance typical of many floribundas, and benefits from regular pruning to maintain shape and encourage blooms. Recognized for its distinctive, rare color among floribundas, ‘Celestial Night’ has been appreciated by rose enthusiasts and garden designers for adding a sophisticated touch to mixed borders and formal rose beds.
