Description
Grevillea lanigera ‘Jade Mound,’ commonly known as Silky Oak, is a compact, evergreen shrub prized for its dense, mounding habit and vibrant, needle-like foliage that exhibits a rich jade green color. Native to southeastern Australia, this species thrives in well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade, making it an excellent choice for gardens requiring drought-tolerant and low-maintenance plants. ‘Jade Mound’ produces an abundance of small, spider-like red and cream flowers during late winter to spring, attracting pollinators such as birds and bees.
