Description
Chionanthus retusus ‘China Snow’ is a refined selection of the Chinese fringetree, prized for its spectacular spring bloom of frothy, fragrant white panicles that drape like snow over glossy green foliage. It was selected by plantsman Don Shadow from a standout specimen at Old Sanford Arboretum, Knoxville, and offers four-season appeal—with exfoliating bark adding winter interest and creamy yellow fall foliage in cooler climates.
